A two-story floating restaurant with a rooftop dining space will replace the closed Buoy's Waterfront Bar & Grill at Saylorville Lake Marina next spring, the marina's general manager says. Mark Ferree, who oversees the marina at 6170 SW Polk City Drive on the Des Moines metro's largest lake for operator Suntex Marinas, said the new restaurant and bar is under construction and that the project manager has said it will be towed into place in mid-June. Construction will wrap up in August or September, with work by the tenant to follow, he said.
